Where is the festival site?
The festival takes place across two venues: the LX Factory, and Village Underground Lisboa. They are very close together in proximity and you can walk between the venues within 10 minutes.
The LX Factory can be located at:

What are the festival dates?
The main festival takes place on the 14th and the 15th of September, with lots of optional activities taking place on the 16th.
What are the opening times?
The festival site will be open from 1pm to 6am. The first stage will be starting music at 3pm, with the last finishing at 6am.
What is the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is Lisbon (LIS), is only 25 minutes away from the festival site. There are multiple flights to Lisbon from most major airports in Europe, as well as selected flights from around the world.
What is the currency in Portugal?
Are there any after parties?
Free after parties in either the Village Underground or LX Factory parts of the festival site are included with your ticket. These go until 6am.
There will also be free beach parties on the beach on Sunday 16th. DJs TBC.
Where is the nearest ATM?
There is an ATM at LX Factory complex which is part of the festival site. Most bars on the festival sites will also take card payment.
Where is the nearest hospital?
Hospital de Egas Moniz is within 5 minutes walk of the festival site or a 2 minute drive.
Is there a lost property facility?
All lost property will be held on site, just ask at the site office.
Does my e-ticket gain me entry to the festival?
You will need to exchange your e-ticket for a wristband at Village Underground. Please have them printed and ready with a valid form of ID (drivers license, valid in date passport).
Can I get a replacement wristband?
In the case that your wristband breaks you will need to come to reception for a replacement.
How do I get a refund?
Unfortunately refunds are not available. If you can no longer make it to the festival you may be able to change the name on the ticket. Name changes are at the discretion of the ticket agent and the festival. If the name change is allowed by an agent it is likely to involve an administration fee. Please contact the ticket agent you bought your ticket from directly.

Does my ticket gain me entry to launch parties, pre-parties and boat parties?
Tickets to the festival do not grant entry to after parties and boat parties. You can find tickets to launch parties, pre-parties and boat parties through Skiddle.
Is it 18+ only?
Yes. No under 18s will be permitted entry to the festival.
Are there single day tickets?
Yes there are. You can buy these through the 'Get Tickets' link at the top of the page.
What does the VIP ticket get me?
The VIP ticket page gets you entry and the following extras: Queue jump to after parties, access to VIP bar / area and free tickets to pre-parties.
Travel & Accommodation
Where can I find affordable flights?
You can find the cheapest flights available to you for your desired dates through http://www.skyscanner.com/. The closest airport is Lisbon airport (LIS).
How do I get to the festival sites?
The festival site is around 20 minutes from the city centre.
Via public transport you can get there by taking the 15E on the metro line which leaves from Praça do Comércio and will take you from the city centre to the LX factory or Village Underground in just 15 minutes.
Alternatively Uber has recently launched and is a good alternative to public travel.
Will there be Taxis late at night to get me to my accommodation?
As a thriving European capital city 24 hour taxis are easy to come by, Uber has recently launched there too.
Where is there to stay?
Nova Batida is a non-camping festival. However we have teamed up with Festicket to give you a range of good-value options. You can see more accommodation options, by visiting our accommodation page.
Food & Drink
Can I bring food and drinks into the festival?
You will not be allowed to bring your own food and drinks including alcohol into any of the festival venues. Many food and drink options will be available within the festival.
What is there to eat?
There is a large selection of street food and restaurants available on the festival site.

Can I perform at the festival?
You can drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will review your application. Please note Soundcrash HQ receive an extremely high level of requests to perform at our events so can not respond to all of them. We do our best to listen to all applications though.
Can I volunteer at the festival?
We have a limited number of volunteering positions available. Volunteers will get festival entry, some food and drinks in exchange for a few shifts. To apply to be a volunteer please email email@example.com.
Can I work at the festival?
Unfortunately not - we have our staff sorted and the bar and security staff are hired directly by the festival sites. Thanks for the offer though!
