When is Nova Batida taking place?
The main festival takes place on the 13th to 15th of September. However, optional activities and pre-parties will start on the Thursday 12th and the beach party, a highlight from last year, will be on Monday 16th.
Where is the festival site?
The festival takes place across two venues: the LX Factory, and Village Underground Lisboa, situated side-by-side next to the April 25 bridge. For 2019, these will be connected by a bridge to unify the two venues into one festival site.
Where is the nearest ATM?
There is an ATM at LX Factory complex which is part of the festival site. Bars on site will also take card payment.
Where is my lost property?
All lost property will be held on site, just ask at the site office.
Can I bring food and drinks into the festival?
No. You will not be able to bring your own food and drinks including alcohol into any of the festival venues. There will be many food and drink options available within the festival.
What is there to eat?
There is a large selection of street food and restaurants available on the festival site.
How do I get to Lisbon?
The nearest airport is Lisbon (LIS), is only 25 minutes away from the festival site. There are flights to Lisbon from most major airports in Europe, as well as selected flights from around the world.
How do I get to the festival site?
The festival site is only around 20 minutes from the city centre.
Via public transport you can get there by taking the 15E on the metro line which leaves from Praça do Comércio and will take you from the city centre to the sites in just 15 minutes.
Alternatively, as a major city, there are plenty of taxi services available for this journey.
Will there be Taxis late at night to get me to my accommodation?
As a thriving European capital city, 24 hour taxis are easy to come by. Uber has recently launched there too.
Is Nova Batida a camping festival?

Where should I stay?
Your ticket to Nova Batida does not include any accommodation. This means you have lots of options to choose from so that you can get the accommodation which suits you best. There are lots of different places to stay in Lisbon, from quirky rental properties, to budget hostels to luxury hotels. Check out our suggestions on our blog.

What day or time is my favourite artist playing?
We will be releasing day-by-day splits and set times a little closer to the festival. Keep your eyes peeled on our social media, or sign up to our mailing list, to be the first to know!
Does my e-ticket gain me entry to the festival?
You will need to exchange your e-ticket for a wristband at our box office. Please have them printed and ready with a valid form of ID (Driver’s license, valid passport).
Can I get a replacement wristband?
In the case that your wristband breaks you will need to come to reception for a replacement. We will not be able to reissue wristbands if lost.
I can’t make it anymore. Can I get a refund?
We’re sorry to see you go! As stated in the terms and conditions of purchase, all tickets to the festival are non-refundable. However, tickets are so popular you may be able to sell it on. Please contact your ticket agent before attempting this to make sure the name will be transferable.
What does my ticket give me entry to?
Standard tickets give you entry to the festival venues and stages during opening hours. Boat parties and extra activities will require extra tickets. To read more click here.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Our festival venues are 18+. A valid proof of age may be required on entry.
What does the VIP ticket get me?
The VIP ticket page gets you all the entry to the festival given by a standard ticket along with the following extras: Queue jump, access to the VIP area, bar and bathrooms, complimentary welcome drink and exclusive tote bag.
Can I perform at the festival?
We carefully curate our line-up so don’t often have openings for applications. However, if you are very keen to perform, do send through your details to firstname.lastname@example.org. Because of the high number or requests, we can’t respond to every application- but we will be sure to give each one a listen!
Can I work at the festival?
All our staff are sorted and the bar and security staff are hired directly by the festival sites. Thanks for the offer though!
