When is Nova Batida taking place?
The main festival takes place on the 13th to 15th of September. However, optional activities and pre-parties will start on the Thursday 12th and the beach party, a highlight from last year, will be on Monday 16th.
Where is the festival site?
The festival is located in our amazing venues LX Factory & Village Underground, Lisboa.
Where is the nearest ATM?
There are a number of ATMs located within a short walk of both LX Factory and Village Underground, with the nearest being at Montepio Geral.
Where is my lost property?
If you’ve lost something valuable such as a phone then be sure to report it to the local police, as this might be a requirement for your insurance. If you have lost your bank cards then make sure you cancel them and report them lost. For any other lost property, speak to a member of staff at the info point as we have lost property handed in all the time.
Can I bring food and drinks into the festival?
No. You will not be able to bring your own food and drinks including alcohol into any of the festival venues. There will be many food and drink options available within the festival.
What is there to eat?
There is a large selection of street food and restaurants available on the festival site.
How do I get to Lisbon?
The nearest airport is Lisbon (LIS), is only 25 minutes away from the festival site. There are flights to Lisbon from most major airports in Europe, as well as selected flights from around the world.
How do I get to the festival site?
The festival site is only around 20 minutes from the city centre.
Via public transport you can get there by taking the 15E on the metro line which leaves from Praça do Comércio and will take you from the city centre to the sites in just 15 minutes.
Alternatively, as a major city, there are plenty of taxi services available for this journey.
Will there be Taxis late at night to get me to my accommodation?
As a thriving European capital city, 24 hour taxis are easy to come by. Uber has recently launched there too.
Is Nova Batida a camping festival?
Yes, there are camping and glamping options available, please see here for more information.
Where should I stay?
Your ticket to Nova Batida does not include any accommodation. This means you have lots of options to choose from so that you can get the accommodation which suits you best. There are lots of different places to stay in Lisbon, from quirky rental properties, to budget hostels to luxury hotels. Check out our suggestions on our blog.

Does my e-ticket gain me entry to the festival?
You will need to exchange your e-ticket for a wristband at LX Factory. Please have them printed and ready with a valid form of ID (Driver’s license, valid passport).
Can I get a replacement wristband?
In the case that your wristband breaks or is lost, we are unable to reissue wristbands.
I can’t make it anymore. Can I get a refund?
We’re sorry to see you go! As stated in the terms and conditions of purchase, all tickets to the festival are non-refundable. However, tickets are so popular you may be able to sell it on. Please contact your ticket agent before attempting this to make sure the name will be transferable.
What does my ticket give me entry to?
Standard tickets give you entry to the festival venues and stages during opening hours. Boat parties and extra activities will require extra tickets. To read more click here.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Our festival venues are 18+. A valid proof of age may be required on entry.
What does the VIP ticket get me?
The VIP ticket page gets you all the entry to the festival given by a standard ticket along with the following extras: Queue jump, access to the VIP area, bar and bathrooms, complimentary welcome drink and exclusive tote bag.
Can I perform at the festival?
We carefully curate our line-up so don’t often have openings for applications. However, if you are very keen to perform, do send through your details to firstname.lastname@example.org. Because of the high number or requests, we can’t respond to every application- but we will be sure to give each one a listen!
Can I work at the festival?
All our staff are sorted and the bar and security staff are hired directly by the festival sites. Thanks for the offer though!
Do you need a festival ticket to attend the beach and boat parties?
You won’t need a festival ticket to attend the beach and boat parties, but you will need to buy tickets for these parties individually! These will be checked upon entry.
Where do we meet for the boat parties?
The meeting point for all the boat parties will be at Pontile Lounge Bar at Cais da Rocha Conde de Óbidos – Doca De Alcântara Norte. Please ensure you arrive 30 minutes before boarding so everyone can boat safely in time for departure. Please note that you cannot bring any liquids onto the boat, and jumping off the boat into the sea will result in your wristband being taken off you.
Where do we go if we are surfing?
If you have bought surfing lessons with us, please go to the meeting point at Lisbon Surfaris Shop inside Carcavelos Train Station. Customers can catch the train from Lisbon Cais do Sodre station straight to Carcavelos.
